We are two poetry loving lesbians and we can’t wait to yap about it with y’all!
Meet us at The Pond for our regular poetry night, grab a cup of coffee or tea and join the conversation <33
Reading a different poem every time, we will be exploring the rich legacy of queer poetry, all the way from Sappho’s fragments to contemporary poetry icons.
We want to make Sapphic Poetry Night all about connection, coziness and art. In this meeting we are exploring the works of Mary Oliver further, by reading two of her poems: “Don’t Hesitate” & “The Poet Compares Human Nature to the Ocean from Which We Came”.
Print outs of the selected poem will be available at the event.
