It is Queer Christmas, aka. Halloween season and we are indulging in the atmosphere by hosting two horror movie screenings, and having a special board game club on Halloween. Selected hardbacks are now 20% off!

There is a crossword in this newsletter! We are thinking about introducing a chocolate tea drink. This is the month for writers, with the writing group and letter writing workshop happening. We will also come together to create a trans zine <3

We have a new free-to-read zine display! This month we are slowing down because of our staff’s capacity. We will also be participating in three bookstands, which is super exciting! You get to see us out in the wild. There is now also a pay-it-forward system, woop woop.

June marks our 6 months of existing! We’re celebrating with some new strawberry syrups added to selected drinks, two release parties (a comic & a zine), another Connections game, and of course a bunch of cool new releases.

There are Danish books in the shop! Jolly! You can now support us while listening to audiobooks. There is a “Connections” game in the newsletter as well as our staff’s favorite books of May.

Bulletin board is up! We have more queer indie magazines in the shop, our discord chat is live, there is a scavenger hunt in the bookstore café and we’re now hosting Danish Language Café!

Our fourth room is opened, with more table space and a community puzzle. Some great books are coming out in paperback, and we are hosting our first comic book launch party!

New work chair, hot chocolate on the menu and preparing to host our first TTRPG at The Pond. We are truly shaping up!

We are slowly getting used to running a bookstore cafe and are establishing new events, and branching out our drink selection.
