Yarn & Yap: a crochet and knitting hangout

A knitting and crochet hangout open to all skill levels, wether you want to learn to knit or crochet, or you’re already working on a project and want a social space for it.

There will be support available for those who want to learn, or need help with, for example, figuring out a pattern.

Knitting needles, crochet hooks, and yarn will be provided during the workshop, but we encourage you to bring your own so you can continue the project at home.

If you are new to knitting, you can expect to start a project such as a little scarf or bonnet.

You are also welcome to bring other handwork if you just want a cozy social space to work on your project.

For your first project we recommend:

  • Needles in 3-3, 5-4 mm range

  • Approx. 50 gr of thin to medium weight yarn

We have some materials already, but if you have yarn and/or tools like knitting needles that you are ready to part ways with we would gladly take them!
